Troubleshooting

This topic describes some basic tips to help you correctly install World Time Pro.
If you are having trouble using World Time Pro, and cannot find an answer to your problem on the relevant Help page, World Time Pro may not be correctly installed on your computer. Follow the steps below to check that World Time Pro is correctly installed.
  1. Ensure you have the latest version of World Time Pro. The problem you are having with the software may be fixed in a later version of World Time Pro. You can check for the latest version of World Time Pro at the World Time Pro website. To check what version of World Time Pro you are using, select Help > About.
  2. If you did not install World Time Pro, but double-clicked the EXE file, download and run the setup file. Running the setup file ensures that all components of World Time Pro are properly installed on your computer. You can download the setup file from the World Time Pro website.
  3. Download and install the Visual Basic 6.0 run-time files. World Time Pro needs these files to run.
  4. (Optional) If you receive an error message requesting a specific DLL file, download and install the DLL file.
    Note: You should check the download site for instructions about how to install and register the DLL file.
  5. Email WTP Software at support@helpml.com with 'Help and Support' in the subject line of the email. We will be happy to help you resolve any problems you are having with World Time Pro. Please provide as much information as possible in your email to help us quickly diagnose the problem.
